Guest writer terms

Thank you for your interest in contributing to Desert Island Cloud! We welcome guest writers who are passionate music. To ensure a smooth collaboration and maintain the quality of our content, please review the following guidelines before submitting your article.

1. Content Originality:
   
   All submitted content must be 100% original and not published elsewhere, including on personal blogs or other websites. We do not accept plagiarised or spun content. Any articles found to be duplicate content will be rejected.
2. Relevance and Quality:
   
   Articles should be relevant to the themes of Desert Island Cloud, including topics related to music or other related areas. Content should be well-researched, informative, and provide value to our readers. Posts should be free of grammatical and spelling errors.
3. Length and Structure:
   
   Articles should be at least 600 words in length. They should include a clear title, an introduction, a body with subheadings for easy reading, and a conclusion. Use bullet points, numbered lists, and images where appropriate to enhance readability.
4. Links and Backlinks:
   
   You may include 1-2 do-follow backlinks to your own website, provided they are relevant and add value to the content. You may also include 1-2 additional links to high-authority external sources. An internal link to another relevant article on Desert Island Cloud should also be included. Links that are purely promotional or affiliate links will not be accepted.
5. Editorial Rights:
   
   We reserve the right to edit your article for clarity, grammar, and SEO purposes. This may include modifying titles, headlines, or internal links. If significant changes are needed, we will send the revised draft back to you for review before publication.
6. Review and Update Process:
   
   Once your article is submitted, it will go through our review process. If any updates or revisions are needed, we will notify you and work together to finalise the content. You will have the opportunity to make adjustments or approve changes before the article is published.
7. Exclusivity:
   
   Once your article is published on Desert Island Cloud, it should not be published elsewhere, including on your own website, without our permission. This ensures the content remains unique to our platform.
8. Authorship and Bio:
   
   You can be credited as the author of your post. Please provide a brief bio (2-3 sentences). You may include one link to your website or social media in your bio.
9. Promotion:
   
   We encourage you to promote your published post on your social media channels, newsletters, and other platforms. We will also share your post across our social media and potentially in our email newsletters.
10. No Sponsored Content:
    
    Articles that are submitted as guest posts should not be promotional in nature. If you are interested in writing a sponsored post, please contact us for more information on our sponsored content guidelines.
11. Permanent Archiving:
    
    All guest posts will be permanently archived on Desert Island Cloud. Your post will remain accessible indefinitely, though it may eventually be moved from the homepage to other sections of the site as new content is published.
12. Payment Process:
    
    There is a fee for publishing guest posts on Desert Island Cloud. Payments must be made through PayPal before the article is published. Please contact us to discuss the fee and provide your PayPal email address for invoicing. Once payment is received, we will proceed with the publication of your article.
