OUR NOISE, the indie-rock power trio from Toronto, is making waves once again. After enlisting the legendary producer and guitarist of The Dandy Warhols, Peter Holmström, for a striking remix of their hit track ‘Blackmail,’ they’ve now joined forces with Mark Gardener of Ride to deliver a transformative reworking of their fan-favourite song, ‘FLA.’

Gardener’s remix of ‘FLA’ takes the original pfunk-inspired vibe and morphs it into something far more atmospheric and introspective. With its hypnotic guitar hooks looping persistently, the reimagined track unfolds into a vast, arid soundscape, drawing listeners into its immersive texture.

Lucy Di Santo, the band’s dynamic bassist and vocalist, shared the story of how the collaboration came to life: “While we were on tour in San Francisco, our dear friend Shauna McLarnon got us passes to see Ride perform. After the show, we met Mark, and that’s when the idea of the remix for ‘FLA’ was born. Once we both wrapped up our tours, Mark sent us a few versions mixed at his Ox4Sound studio in Oxford, UK. He presented an Acid Trip of a remix—a slowed-down, chilled-out vibe that blew us away during repeated listens in Steve’s car.”
