In her own words, she shares, “There are two places that evoke nostalgic memories and often bring tears to my eyes. One is the realm of aeroplanes, and the other is the solitary experience of driving alone in the car at night. There’s something about the journey and the solitude that invites deep reflection—it’s a sentiment shared by many. I wanted to craft a pop song that captured that cinematic trope of shedding tears in your car. It’s a cliche for a reason! There’s something powerfully cathartic about turning up the music, rolling down the windows, and letting the tears flow.”
Hailed as V Magazine’s ‘New Favourite Artist’, I Am Boleyn divides her time between London and Stockholm, collaborating with the Swedish-based music production collective FMLY STHLM and Johannes Willinder.
