Swamp Music Players are a retro-futuristic music collective with a passion for Swamp Rock, Swamp Blues and Cosmic Americana.
Founded in Canada we have members from the USA and work with International artists. We enjoy the crossroads of the late 1970s and early 1980s when retro Rock’N’Roll was co-existing with transistorised technology.
This latest track from Swamp Music Players “Jezebel” features the vocals of Sugar which is on their latest album titled Commercial Touchdown. Sugar wrote and sang Sugar Parks is a Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter of indie blues rock music that shimmers with the darkness of noir pop.
Sugar began her journey into songwriting by writing poetry as an introspective outlet in her hometown in Ventura County, CA.
She moved around California’s Pacific Coast, acquired some knowledge of guitar while in San Francisco, and ended up in L.A.’s San Fernando Valley. Misfortune in love inspired her art.
