Lifts are better than post-punk.

Lifts go beyond the typical post-punk act as they also take influence from contemporary classical music, jazz, and folk to great expressive effect. This is reflected in their extended line-up which includes keys and two string players, one of whom is the granddaughter of The Dubliners’ Ciaran Bourke.

Lifts will release a single every month for the next year. They won’t all sound the same.
