Afro-fusion hypnotic textures

The self-produced record is an afro-fusion track inspired by Congolese soukous and the Brazilian genre of baile funk. It blends the thumping Brazilian percussion with hypnotic rhythms in guitar and synths, as well as new age, Kid Cudi inspired vocals.

On the surface, it is a song about the necessity of luxury but a deeper listen may reveal some deeper meaning

TR!C enlisted the help of frequent collaborator and renowned Congoleseguitarist, Tito Monako for this record. Monako invokes melodies and riffs reminiscent of Congolese rumba and soukous which are complemented by the melancholic, relaxed, and melodic hip-hop vocals of TR!C.
