A brief look into the infinite story of New York City
Radian is the sum of audio vignettes that create a sound sanctuary, leaning into and away from the soundscapes of New York City.
After spending the last decade touring with Lady Moon & the Eclipse, composing for film, theater, dance, and podcast, Brooklyn-based artist Arlen Hart Ginsburg is now sharing his sound expression as a solo artist. “The sounds of New York City are a constant and significant presence; the machines, the people, the animals,” Arlen says. “The cacophony is inescapable and inspired me to create music that soothes the tension, embraces it, and can feel like jumping into it!”
The songs have a range of audio palettes featuring instruments from his native piano, and synths, to mbira, strings, drums… all uniting to portray a brief look into the infinite story of New York City.
