French indie rock bliss
Their music is rock, alternative, grunge, sometimes acoustic. Eleonore has been writing and singing from a young age, creating poetry and lyrics. Max loved the guitar instantly and started playing by imitating his heroes ( Jimmy Page, John Frusciante, Jimi Hendrix…) Their favourite bands are Mazzy Stars, Led Zeppelin, The Breeders, The Vines, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Velvet Underground … to name a few.
Velvet Sunset is a french indie rock band born in 2016, composed of Eléonore on vocals and Max on guitar and bass.
In 2019, their first studio album “Velvet Sunset” came out. A second album « Down the Road » was released in June 2020 followed by a 4 songs EP in September 2020. A singles came out In November 2020 followed by a Lana Del Rey cover in February 2021. In March 2021 and In April, 2 new singles were released surfing on the dream pop/shoegaze vibe. They have made a TV appearance in May 2021 on IDF1 to present the band and our video clip for our song « Drive Me ».
