Talented up-and-comer, Ben Dolic just announced his comeback single “Stuck in My Mind” – A highly anticipated release following his chart-topping debut. The track has been backed by teams who have worked with Michael Jackson, Lizzo, Ed Sheeran, One Direction and HRVY.
Speaking about the single, Ben says “Stuck in My Mind is about an internal battle where you realise what you had before may not have been the best for you. The relationship was toxic, but you’re still attached to some of the happy moments that came with it”. He recalls the story: “The song came really unexpectedly during a writing camp in Brighton. Once we had the demo we knew we had to release it, but last year, like everyone, our circumstances changed. We finished the song over Zoom during the lockdown and I had to learn how to record the vocals by myself. It was a tough process, but it was a good experience to learn new skills. I’m so excited to release Stuck in My Mind, my fans have been really patient with me and I’m so glad to finally share this with them”.
2020 was kickstarted by Ben announcing he would be representing Germany for the Eurovision Song Contest, the annual competition where ABBA first found fame. His debut single, “Violent Thing” immediately skyrocketed to the Top 40 of the German Airplay Charts and the music video received one million plays within the first week. Now, after a year of perfecting his sound, Ben Dolic is back with a bang and ready to make his mark on the music industry again. Combining an upbeat Pop production with a groovy bassline and dark, yet relatable lyrics, make this single perfect for any occasion.
At just 24 years old, Ben has performed with Zara Larsson, Rita Ora and Olly Murs, his debut release has amassed over ten million streams worldwide and the music video has gained over two million views to date. Ben has performed at the Konya Büyükşehir Arena in Turkey to an audience of over 40,000. He’s a self-taught pianist and guitarist who was heavily involved in all creative aspects of the release, including songwriting, production, artwork, website design and music video production.
