For his 3rd studio album Michael Baker has teamed up with long-time friend Andrew Stuart- Buttle (a Multi-Instrumentalist and band member with Lucy Rose) to produce this album, which was mixed by Aldous Harding credited Oliver Baldwin. A testimony to how prolific Michael is an artist and songwriter he has already been in to record album 4 with Luke Potashnick (Tom the Lion, Alberta Cross) due out late 2021
Michael is a twice Arts Council Uk supported Anglo-French singer/songwriter who has travelled the world playing his music to anyone and everyone who will listen. Michael spent his childhood near Brighton and got his first guitar aged eight. In his teens, the songs soon started to flow.
It wasn’t long before the purity of his voice, the direct rawness of his writing and the sheer scope of his sound found his regular gigs and a devoted fanbase – one that only grew bigger and more in love with the release of his magnificent debut album Dust & Bone which was made while he lived in his van for two and a half years to fund the recording costs. His 8.9 out of 10 Atwood reviewed Sophomore Album ‘Salt’ was produced by Brighton based Ed Martin & was released in March this year and has achieved over 100k Streams and 300 vinyl album sales to date.
