Canadian Indie-pop band Peach Luffe was born from a battling cry for sovereignty. Rather than return to Korea after university, front-man Jong Lee grew roots in Toronto to pursue his love for songwriting.
Evolving from a solo project to adding Sean Yerzy, Jonathan Friedman, and Michael Friedman into a quartet, Peach Luffe became an emerging artist in the Toronto scene with a style that is a “saccharine, silky, mellow, sonic paradise”.
Though the songs are tinted with yearning melancholy, a brightness colours through to soothe troubles. Over the rough waves of an ever-changing world, Peach Luffe is a starlight of hope.
