Mighloe advocates for divine equality between all people in gently lilting RnB single ‘Wallflower’. The Dizzy Dinero-directed centres around an Adam and Eve-esuqe couple whose utopian relationship is a contrast to the words of heartbreak and healing. Singing in that saccharine vocal with reverbed electric guitars and a minimalist backbeat, Mighloe vows to never underestimate her worth again.
As Mighloe reveals: “It’s about finding strength in my fragility. Forgiving my uprooting and replanting myself. I pay homage to my pain, and feel powerful in my scars.”
Mighloe is a Toronto based singer & songwriter. A recent graduate of The Remix Project and SOCAN Incubator, she has been carefully crafting her sound and developing a clear visual identity as she begins to confidently wade into the tumultuous waters of the international music industry.
Having performed at venues all over the city of Toronto, the R&B/Soul artist enthrals audiences with smooth and sultry tones. Possessing real depth in her music – Mighloe’s writing juxtaposes an honest innocence with hard-won wisdom and a strong knowledge of self in order to create songs that are at once sensual, world-weary and ultimately, hopeful.
After the release of her debut EP, All About YOU, Mighloe has been seen opening stages for the likes of Grammy Award-winning PJ Morton, major label artist Ari Lennox, as well as hometown favourite Witch Prophet amongst others. A polymath who is actively involved across various forms of creative expression, Mighloe is a special talent that is proving herself one to watch as she begins to emerge on the world stage.
