Anam Cara is an independent artist, currently studying at New York University. Attending Catholic schools and growing up in choir theater played a role in molding her current sound and topical pursuits. 

The 20-year-old songstress also takes inspiration from Pink Floyd’s psych leanings, as well as soul singers like Winehouse, Donny Hathaway, and William Blake.
