Zuma Creek began as a solo project. Nathan would sit in front of his
laptop with a guitar in an attempt to make something, anything.
Nathan eventually got into contact with John Olthoff about helping with some instruments like bass and keys, in addition to mixing. Nathan then reached out to another friend, Ashton Dalfino, to track drums.
"I wrote the 10 songs for this record and tracked guitar and vocals
myself, aside from a few licks on “Way You Feel” and “Should I Let it
Go” that were done by my friend Cameron Schlabach,“ Nathan says. "So
this project was sort of half a solo recording sitting at home by
myself and tracking vocals in my closet, and the second half
collaborating with friends for more sounds and mixing.”
