4 AM Spotlight
The EP was written, recorded, and mixed by Nick himself in his bedroom, as he has always done it. “For the track "4 AM Spotlight” I wanted to make something more dramatic and theatrical,“ Nick says. "I’m a big Bowie fan and take a lot of inspiration from him. I wanted the vocal to be more of a performance than just a recording of the vocal.”
“The song’s called "4 AM Spotlight” because it was how I imagined this theatrical performance. I’m giving this performance in the spotlight, but it’s 4 AM, everyone left and nobody cares. That in itself is loosely what the song is about.“
