Maroc was created when indie-pop-rock songwriter Lewis Parker met hip-hop producer Anton Bentzon in high school. They decided to get to work in the studio and see if the combination would trigger a spark of something new. It did. 

Since then the two friends have been playing around with beats and ideas in their studio for a year until they became assured of their unique sound. A sound that can be experienced on their self-titled EP. With the project, the hip-hop/indie-pop-rock duo Maroc gives you a distinctive sound, moving boundlessly between genres. 

Together the duo achieves a unique sound mixing distorted guitar, punk vocal, heavy bass and tight hip-hop drums with airy synths, dreamy guitars and chopped samples. Accompanied by Cobo Maroc’s intense and precise vocal performance, characterized by complex flows, catchy melodies and sometimes punked sound.
