With the release of their self-titled debut album back in May 2018, Why Another introduced the Boston music scene to their own unique brand of alternative rock, combining the raw energy of rock with ethereal electronic textures and a thoroughly compositional approach.
Following in the footsteps of artists like Radiohead, Pink Floyd and Jeff Buckley, the band’s wide-ranging influences create a palette from which its five members paint a soundscape, enveloping the songs of frontman Adi Malka.
“"Why" was written about a former band member who made me ask myself questions I’ve never asked myself before in my life,” Adi explains. “And “I Don’t Mind” was written about the realization that I sometimes don’t care about certain people but it doesn’t make me bad or good, it’s just a fact.”
