Joseph Tyler’s debut EP, It’s Been Too Long, was released in April 2017, featuring a self-directed music video for the lead single, “Seasonal.” New release “Eternity” adds to the impressive catalog he has amassed through performing in bands, writing, and producing songs for himself and others since he was a teenager.
“I began writing the music of Eternity in the midst of an evolution,” Joseph Tyler says. “Born out of experimenting with the nostalgic and colorful sounds created by synth arpeggiators, I discovered a vibrant world of inspiration to pull from.”
“It became the perfect backdrop for an honest look at the thoughts, feelings, and fears racing through my head at that time. It’s about being in love. It’s about growing up. It’s about the ebb and flow I experience while making music. It’s about the importance of creating eternal memories with the people, places, and things that mean the most to me.”
“Eternity was recorded in my home studio, with a lot of help from my longtime collaborator Jordan Davis. It was mixed and mastered by Sam Pura (The Story So Far, Hundredth) at The Panda Studios in Fremont, California.”
