“I’ve been searching, for all the pieces.” Diving was recorded late at night out in the woods. It is a stuttering shoegaze road trip lyrically inspired by author Jeff Noon’s diseased-information-overload novel, ‘Falling Out of Cars’. All the different layers of sound and information filtered through delay, reverb and tremolo into this one song recorded over a winter’s night.

Corasandel is an alt-shoegaze band that lives, writes and records out in the Lincolnshire countryside, UK. Isolating themselves off-grid all amps and fx are powered by the wind. The band is united by a love of reverb, soundscapes and stories, of Slowdive, Shack and Neil Young. The band’s previous release, Bee Today, soundtracked an award winning UK play – ‘Maisie Says She Loves Me’. Their music has been played on DKFM shoegaze radio in LA, BBC Introducing and Radio Wigwam in the UK. The band have recently been collaborating with electronica project, Xeresa.

Continuing Corasandel’s work with local musicians, producers and labels, Diving is released digitally by Old Tin Box Recordings in the UK. Diving is backed by the ambient B-side Tape Interference. All instruments and saucepans played and produced by the band. Artwork by Lee Conybeare.
